About SIDG

The International Society for Dialectology and Geolinguistics (SIDG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the global promotion of regional varieties. The society brings together scholars from various linguistic traditions, encouraging collaboration across disciplines and institutions. The SIDG actively supports linguistic research projects, including linguistic atlases. Additionally, the society publishes the peer-reviewed journal Dialectologia et Geolinguistica (DiG), serving as its official publication.
